AiLunch Privacy Policy

For end users — café guests. Acknowledgement of this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") is confirmed by a checkbox when registering with the AiLunchBot Telegram bot.

This Policy describes how the developer of AiLunch, acting as a private individual (the "Developer") collects, processes, and protects the personal data of users of the AiLunchBot Telegram bot (the "Guest", "User", or "You").

1. Who is the data controller

The Developer has not yet incorporated a legal entity. Data is processed on a best-effort basis using industry-standard safeguards, pending formal registration and a full Data Processing Agreement.

2. What data we collect

We only collect data that you voluntarily provide inside the AiLunchBot bot.

2.1. Technical data

  • Your Telegram account ID (to identify you in the system);
  • Your request history with the bot (to improve the service).

2.2. Data used to personalize your meal plan

  • Sex, date of birth, height, weight;
  • Nutrition goal (weight loss, weight maintenance, muscle gain);
  • Physical activity level;
  • Meal budget (optional);
  • Dietary and health notes: allergies, food intolerances, and conditions that affect food choice (e.g. diabetes, gastritis, high cholesterol), and food preferences.

2.3. What we do NOT collect

  • Your first and last name;
  • Your phone number;
  • Photographs;
  • Your location;
  • Bank card details;
  • Medical records or certificates.

3. Why we use your data

3.1. Primary purposes

  • Building a personal meal plan from the café's menu based on your parameters;
  • Generating the meal-plan code you show to waitstaff;
  • Excluding unsuitable dishes (allergens, restrictions);
  • Accounting for your budget and preferences.

3.2. Secondary purposes

  • Improving our AI algorithms (using de-identified data);
  • Technical support;
  • Responding to your requests.

3.3. What we do NOT use your data for

  • Selling it to third parties;
  • Targeted advertising;
  • Sharing it with insurers, employers, or other organizations.

4. Legal basis for processing

Processing of technical data and meal-plan parameters is based on your consent, given by tapping "I accept" the first time you open the bot.

Processing of health-related information (allergies, diabetes, gastritis, etc.) is based on your separate, explicit consent, provided voluntarily for the purpose of meal personalization.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending the /delete_account command to the bot.

5. Sharing data with third parties

To generate recommendations, de-identified data is shared with DeepSeek AI (a data processor). This transfer happens only in the context of your request for a recommendation.

The café you are visiting only receives:

  • Your meal-plan code (e.g. ABX234);
  • The list of dishes included in that meal plan.

The café does not receive your personal data, health data, or request history.

We do not share your data with any other third party, except as required by law.

6. Storage and deletion

Data is stored on servers with restricted access for as long as you use the bot. As a solo developer operating pre-incorporation, the Developer applies reasonable, industry-standard safeguards rather than a formal enterprise security program.

You can delete all your data at any time by sending the /delete_account command to the bot. Deletion is completed within 24 hours.

Data that has been inactive for more than 24 months may be automatically deleted.

Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Ask what data of yours is being processed;
  • Request correction of data that is inaccurate or out of date;
  • Withdraw your consent at any time;
  • Delete all your data by sending /delete_account.

8. Security measures

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest, restricted access to data, and regular backups.

AiLunch is not a medical organization and does not provide medical advice. Recommendations are for informational purposes only.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. If you have a chronic condition, always consult your physician before changing your diet.

AiLunch is not responsible for the quality of the food prepared by the café or for any allergic reactions.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available in the AiLunchBot bot and on this page. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised version.
